Rental Opening Hours:
- The office is open Monday to Sunday from 09.00 hrs to 18.00 hrs.

Reservations:
- A deposit of 25% of the total hire price is required to secure an advance booking.  Full rental charges are payable at least 20 days before the start of hire.  Payments must be made by cash, credit/debit card or bank transfer.

Collection / Return:
- Collection of our Campervans is between 14.00hrs and 18.00hrs. The campervans must be returned by 10.00 hrs to allow us sufficient time to prepare for re-hire.
Clients who return the vehicles later than 10.00 hrs without prior agreement will be charged 70 Euro per hour up to a full night’s rental.

Insurance:
- The named driver must be aged 25 to 75 years old and hold a clean drivers license valid for 2 years.  Only EU, Australian, New Zealand, USA, Canada, South African License Holders are permitted by our insurance company to hire.  The insurance policy has an excess, that is, clients are responsible for the first 1500 euro of damage. We do not offer Collision Damage Waiver to reduce amount of excess damage.

Details of additional drivers required:
- Production of valid standard driver’s license required from all drivers at start of hire.
- Drivers are personally liable for all legal penalties (e.g.: parking tickets) which are incurred during the period of hire.
- Drivers must provide two separate forms of identification. i.e. utility bill (not older than 3 months), credit card and passport
- All drivers must be present.

- All accidents must be advised immediately. Where third parties are involved, their details must be furnished when the vehicle is returned.

- Only one additional driver is permitted.

Persons excluded by our insurers;
1. Persons who have been convicted of an offence in connection with the driving of a motor vehicle or motorcycle and/or have had their driving licence endorsed or suspended or penalty points imposed. Parking and not more than two speeding offences in the past 3 years may be ignored. “Spent” convictions, covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 may be disregarded.
2. Persons who have had their insurance declined and/or renewal refused and/or special insurance terms imposed as a result of claims experience and/or have had their insurance or cover cancelled by any Motor Insurer.

Persons who may have to pay additional insurance loadings:
- Please contact us if any of the following apply to you;
1. Persons engaged wholly or partly in professional entertainment or professional sports persons.
2. Jockeys and persons connected with racing of any sort.
3. Persons who, whilst driving, have been involved in more than one accident during the past 3 years.
4. Foreign Service Personnel other than persons born in the United Kingdom.

Security Deposit:
- The hirer is liable to pay a security deposit of €1500 to cover incidents causing damage. This includes loss of skylights, mirrors, window or windscreen damage, impact with stationary objects, driver negligence, returning late or in an unsatisfactory condition, tyre damage etc. The hirer must notify us immediately of any accidents or mishaps that occur so that we may do everything possible to ensure the next client is not inconvenienced.  Please ensure that your credit card is sufficiently funded so that this amount can be authorized at time of hire.

Cleaning:
- A cleaning fee of 150 euro will be charged from the security deposit if the campervan is not returned with the interior in a clean condition. Out of respect for our employees, we must insist that the toilet is emptied and cleaned. Please note an additional fee of 70 euros will be charged from the security deposit if the campervan toilet is not completely emptied and washed out on return.  Please note this cannot be carried out at our depot we recommend that you stay in a campsite on your last night to make carrying out this task easier.

Refill Clean Water Tank and Empty Wastewater Tank:
- The camper will be supplied with a full tank of potable clean water. Please refill the water in the clean water tank and empty the wastewater tank before returning the vehicle. Please note this cannot be carried out at our depot we recommend that you stay in a campsite on your last night to make carrying out this task easier.

Fuel:
- A full tank of fuel will be supplied, please return with the Fuel tank completely full. Fuel used will be deducted from the security deposit.


Parking Fines, Speeding Fines and Other Driving Penlaties ,Accidents:

- Even in the case of very slight damage, the Hirer must prepare a detailed written report for the Rental Company, including a sketch. If, for whatever reason, the Hirer fails to draw up such report and if, because of that, the insurance company refuses to pay the damage, the Hirer shall be obliged to pay full compensation for the damage.

- The accident report must in particular include the names and addresses of anyone involved and any witnesses, together with the license numbers of all Vehicles involved and has to be over handed filled out and signed by Drop Off latest towards the Rental Company.

- If the vehicle is damaged without any fault on the part of the hirer or if it appears likely that its use will be prevented or withdrawn for an unreasonably long time, the Rental Company will arrange collection of hirer’s and return them to Rental Company base. Hirer will be reimbursed
the amount paid for the number of days remaining in the initial contract. Alternatively, if vehicle is withdrawn for an overnight period, hirer’s can be reimbursed number of nights missed but will have to arrange accommodation at their own expense. Hirer’s can then continue their lease as planned once vehicle is road worthy.

- If the vehicle is destroyed due to the Hirer’s fault or if it is foreseeable that its use will be prevented or made impossible for an unreasonably long period due to the hirer’ s fault, the Rental Company will arrange collection of hirer’s and return them to Rental Company base. Hirer’s may not receive reimbursement for days missed.

- Driver(s) are personally liable for all legal penalties and fees relating to any traffic violation under the current Road Traffic Legislation applicable in the United Kingdom including Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Cancellation:
In the event of cancellation of the booking by the client the following charges shall be incurred:
Less than 10 days before beginning of rentall: The 25% Booking Deposit will be retained.
5 days to no show: 100% of total hire charge.
South Coast Motorhome advise that clients should have their own holiday/travel insurance to cover such loss.

- If the Vehicle is returned before the expiry of the agreed rental period, the full contractually agreed hire charge must be paid unless the Vehicle can be hired out to someone else.

- The rental company can cancel any booking at any time. The hirer will receive a full refund if the cancelation is on behalf of the rental company.


Equipment:
- An inventory of the equipment necessary for you to enjoy your holiday will be furnished and checked with you at the start and end of the hire period.

Smoking and Fire Safety:
- Smoking and the lighting of candles are strictly prohibited in our campervans. For your safety our campervans have been fitted with smoke alarms. A fine of €300 will be applied if smoking and/or fire safety conditions are not followed.

Travel to mainland:

-Travel to mainland are not permitted

Storage and forwarding of personal data:

- The South Coast Motorhome Company storing personal data.

- The South Coast Motorhome Company may forward these data via the central warning ring to third parties with a justified interest if the statements made in the rental are incorrect in essential points or the rented Vehicle is not returned within 24 hours of the expiry of the rental period (also extended, if need be) or if rental claims have to be made in judicial reminder proceedings or cheques presented by Tenant are not honoured. In addition, the data can be forwarded to all the authorities responsible for prosecution of offences against public order and criminal offences in the event of Tenant actually behaves dishonestly or sufficient indications here for existing. This is done, for example, in the event of wrong information for the rental, presentation of forged personal documents or such reported as having been lost, failure to return the Vehicle, failure to notify a technical defect, road traffic offences or similar.

Conditions of Supply:
- Whilst every effort will be made to supply the model ordered, we reserve the right to substitute an alternative vehicle should circumstances dictate.

Pets:
- Unfortunately pets are not allowed for travel in motorhome.
Fine for non-compliance €100.
